Godalming Junior School is a co-educational community school maintained by Surrey County Council. There are currently 212 children on the roll, organised into 8 classes, with 2 classes in each year group.

School Staff


The School Governors are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Anthony White to the post of Headteacher with effect from April 2010, following the retirement of Mr Andrew at the end of the Spring Term .

Mr White is currently Deputy Headteacher of Three Bridges Junior School near Crawley, West Sussex and was appointed following interviews held just before half-term.

He is very pleased to be taking up the post at the start of the Summer Term and will be meeting with Mr Andrew and the staff before this time to ensure a smooth transition.

School Centenary

The Godalming Junior School building was officially opened on December 11th 1907 as "Godalming Council School". 

A special web site was created during 2007 to celebrate the centenary of our school
